Our Air Commodore will become World President of IFFR in June 2014
IFFR Member Dusty Miller, has advised that the Royal Institute of Navigation (RIN) and the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), through the Airspace and Safety Initiative (ASI), have joined forces to host a free briefing day in central London on Saturday 10 March 2012 to help those who expect to fly in the South of England during the Olympics. Further information and booking details at http://olympics.airspacesafety.com/news/olympic-pilot-briefing-event
IFFR Member Graham Browning has recently forwarded some useful information for those who have an old CAA licence rather than one that refers to “Joint Aviation Authorities” on the cover, as these will soon not be valid for most aircraft we fly in the UK. If this applies to you and you have not organised it to be exchanged, a copy of Graham’s e-mail can be obtained on request from iffr@spokes.biz
