The first UK Section meeting of the year was a Fly In on Wednesday 28 March 2012 at Sywell (Northampton). CAVOK and warm sunshine encouraged 20 members and guests in 8 aircraft to gather for an enjoyable lunch and chat – interests included a fly past by a Meteor jet and the RAF Association Blade display team. Those present included UK Section Chairman Air Com James Alexander, Past World President Feroz Wadia and UK Treasurer John Bowden now without beard. The next UK Fly In is at Sherburn in Elmet on Wednesday 25 April and the main weekend meeting is at Oxford, 15-17 June.
The International Fellowship of Flying Rotarians is a group of Rotarians dedicated to promoting aviation as an opportunity for fellowship and service. This Fellowship operates in accordance with Rotary International policy, but is not an agency of, or controlled by Rotary International.
