The IFFR UK Flyer of the Year award

This prestigious award was presented to Feroz Wadia at the IFFR sixth annual lunch at the RAF Club in London by the guest speaker Clare Walker CRAeS. In introducing the winner, IFFR UK Chairman Alisma Clark said “Each year we present this award to someone who has made a flight or flights that deserve recognition. This year the award goes to someone who over the years has done more long distance flying than anyone else in the UK Section. You will have guessed that the recipient is Feroz Wadia. Flying across the Atlantic in a single-engined aircraft five times are adventures by themselves but couple that with his round the world flight and his interrupted trip to the Cape of Good Hope you have an exceptional aviator. But it hasn’t stopped since Feroz downsized from the Bonanza. This year he flew his Sport Cruiser to the Scandinavian meeting in Svedberg.”
